Hello, I'm the supervisor at Hui- Kindergarten programme for AAK and I am responsible for the overall programme provided for the children. I have a Bachelor of Teaching Early Childhood and hold full teacher registration.

I am married with 3 children and am learning about balancing parenting with the challenges of being a working Mum. My interests include cross-stitching, cycling and home renovations.

Small children are so full of enthusiasm and curiosity. As adults we need to be available to capitalise on opportunities to extend the child's knowledge as curiosity and interests arise.

I Help out in the office with administration tasks when the manager is away which extends my knowledge in the paperwork side of an early childhood centre.

Kia Ora I am married, live in Feilding and have grown up children and grandchildren. I have been part of the teaching team in the centre since January 2003 and I am a supervisor in the Tamariki nui team with the toddlers and 3 yr olds.

My responsibilities include ensuring the needs are met for the smaller children in their care needs for eating, nappy changing / toiletting and resting. This is an important component to children's holistic growth and learning as they develop life skills to meet their needs independently and confidently.

My teaching strengths include, music, art and craft and general mucky play as I support the foundations for balanced learning. I am currently on extended sick leave from July 2019.

Moata Wananga

Teachers working with infants and small toddlers need to be nurturing and trusting as there is nothing more precious than a wee bundle of joy.

All About Kidz advocates the Pikler Rie theory when working with Infants and Toddlers in that small children are provided opportunities to make developmental progression at their pace.

The most important element for parents of small children is that they trust the teachers left to care for their child and that there is an attachment between centre, child and parent.

Mary Ainsworth and Abraham Maslow are two theorists who along with Pikler and Rie encompass the overriding philosophy for our Infant and Toddler section.

All About Kidz has a maximum of 8 under two's at any one time in the Moata with 2 teachers and a sleep room supervisor.
